We are very thankful to everyone who supports Save Our Monarchs Foundation and shares in our passion and commitment to bring back our beautiful butterflies. Hopefully one day, they will flourish once again.

Below are a few comments from some of our supporters:

"The milkweed seed packets made a great favor at our wedding! Not only will our guests have something lasting to remember the day they shared with us, but they will also be doing something great by helping to enhance the monarch population. Many thanks to the work of all of those at the Save Our Monarchs Foundation!"
-Alyssa Anderson & Nathan Roberts

"Your project could do more to help save monarch butterflies than anything that's ever been done. It's exciting to see that someone is taking monarch preservation seriously."
-David Bohlke, Monarchs Forever

"My husband, Bruce Thomson, was a master gardener and had a passion for the environment and a special interest in monarchs. He recently died after a long battle with ALS. I will be giving out 100 milkweed seed packets at his memorial celebration at the U of MN Arboretum and making a substantial donation to Save Our Monarchs Foundation in his name."
-Janet Thomson

"The milkweed seeds have been very popular at our check-out registers.  Their presence has increased conversation to discuss the decline in the butterfly population.  We continually remind customers to use neonics responsibly and follow directions carefully if they feel they must use them.  We do not use them in the growing areas of our greenhouse.  Our staff reminds the public to be aware of pollinator health and the donation boxes encourage the conversation"
-Nola Wagner
President, Wagners Garden Center

"Please accept this donation in memory of Marie Fandel Moore by sending ten seed packets with a note with our condolences, to her daughter, Kathy Agustsson. She was 93 years old."
-Tryg and Dee Petersen

"After hearing about Save Our Monarchs Foundation and thinking that my future grandchildren may never see a monarch butterfly, I tried to think of ways I could help beyond making a donation.  I am the owner of www.flagsonastick.com, selling decorative flags to homeowners all across the United States and Canada.  My company is enclosing a packet of milkweed seeds with every order placed by my customers, as well as promoting the foundation on our Facebook page.  I’ve heard from many of my customers stating they are happy to help such a worthy cause."
-Becky Bennett

"My friend told me about your monarch non-profit. I love it! I have spared every milkweed on my over-grown property I just purchased and am happy to report I have monarch eggs, caterpillars, chrysalis and butterflies about! Next year I will build a monarch garden. Thanks for taking action on saving the monarchs."

"Save Our Monarchs hosted an exhibit at Edina Community Lutheran Church’s “Pollinator Festival”.  Everyone who attended loved the free milkweed packets that were distributed.  Ward Johnson, Executive Director, shared planting tips and graciously answered any and all questions.  Sincere thanks to all at the Save Our Monarchs Foundation for engaging us in efforts to increase habitat for monarch butterflies!"
-Joyce Daugaard, Edina Community Lutheran Church

Many thanks for the Milkweed Seeds.  I know my mother and sister will rest better knowing that there is an effort to "Save The Monarchs".   I will be sure that they will be planted in the country  cemeteries in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Fargo+Moorhead, Nisswa, Upstate New York, Savannah and Scottsdale.  I will send a photo of the sculpture of the bronze Milkweed, done by my son, by email.  Many thanks.
-Jane Chase
